The themes found in music and the performing arts apply to many walks of life. By looking at the concepts and ideas found in art, most professional fields can be lifted up to a higher level of innovation and creativity.
For nearly a decade I have given lectures, workshops, and master classes on historic bass and Baroque style. My goal has always been to make the world of period performance more accessible. Over the years I’ve had the fortune to speak at institutions that include TEDx Basel, The Juilliard School, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Curtis Institute of Music, Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt, Stanford University, and Yale University.
