Teaching is a tailored experience
Having studied and played on both sides of the Atlantic, I seek to give my students a comprehensive approach to music making that includes various methods, styles, and source materials. No two great athletes are set up the same, nor should two students have the exact same approach to playing the bass.
I currently teach at Gymnasium Oberwil, the International Community Music School-Basel, as well as in my own private studio. My past experience includes the Pre-College Division of the Juilliard School and the New York Summer Music Festival.
For those residing outside of Basel I’m available for lessons via Skype and FaceTime, especially for students who are just beginning to explore historic bass and are in need of general consultation. Please contact me with your request.
